Description
Huntsville Ballet Company presents: The Firebird
A ballet based on Russian folklore premiered in 1910 for Sergei Diaghilev's Ballet Russes in Paris. In the story, the hero Prince Ivan works with the mythical Firebird to defeat the evil sorcerer Koschei the Deathless and rescue captured princesses, one of whom he marries.
